Deity: Katia Biography and Description: Aergo was just starting a family at the age of 20, living in a small cottage in Mistone, near the edge of high forest. He was a well built, calm, quiet man, with a 2 year old son and a loving wife with another child on the way. One morning, a while before his wife usually woke, he started to cook breakfast for a surprise for his wife. Finding out he was out of mushrooms, he quickly ran out to the trees nearby to gather some more. In an extreme instance of bad luck, a large animal in the tree above moved to a thick dead branch. Aergo looked up when he heard cracking, but was not fast enough to dodge the falling branch. He regained consciousness some time later, To find that while he was out, the fire he was cooking with had somehow gotten out of control, and his cottage was enveloped in flames. Screaming, he ran to the cottage, and ran inside to have the structure beams collapse on top of him. When he awoke again he was in the forest, with a druid taking care of him. The druid explained that she dragged his near dead body out of a burning house some days ago, but Aergo had no idea what she was talking about. He realised he didnt remember anything except for his name. After a while, his memory still had no sign of returning. The druids took him in, and in his still traumatised and weakened state, his mind opened to the forest. The only hints of his previous life that remain, are sudden undirected surges of rage, caused by him subconsciously knowing that he had in fact caused the death of his family. As part of his new life in the forest, he directs his rage the only way he knows how - fiercely protecting his new home. So following the teachings of the druids and Katia, he strives to maintain the balance and safety of the forest, the very powers of nature now seeming to answer his call.
