A larikan at the worst of times, Arick's personality and views on life seem simple and light-hearted. Arick was raised the way most common folk were, on a farm. His mother was kind, his father wise. Growing up with his father, being of Elven heritage, was difficalt at times. A talented swordsman, his father taught him that ones skill, and that alone can determine the victor in combat, and that weapons and armor were merely tools that should never be relied upon. Arick has never questioned his mother and father's relationship, but he can't help but wonder sometimes on how they met. His father see's Arick as one who doesn't take life seriously. Because of this, Arick left home at a young age. He hope's to prove to his father that he is capable of looking after himself and that life is to be enjoyed not endured.
