Echo McCray's mother Kendra McCray followed Az'atta and because of that she was tortured raped and nearly killed by a dark elf follower of Baraeon Ca'Duz, making Echo the half elf she is today. She does not claim to follow any Deity but respects and calls on Katia when she is under the gun. Her favored enemy are Dark Elf males of course. She is most comfortable in the woods concealing her dark blood behind the shadows of trees. She feels Az'atta had betrayed her mother by not helping her when she was attacked and left for dead, even tho her mother tried very hard to make her see that she was the gift of love that came from the hatred forced upon her. Echo wishes to confront her father if only she could find or even identify him. She trusts the animals of the forest far more than any humanoid in any realm. She has a mild aptitude for sorcery from her dark elf blood but no formal training to date. She was raised by her mother in Mesindal at her mothers temple. All through her child hood she spent as much time as possible in the woods, well away from the sneers and jeers of other kids. Who often made fun of her half blood appearance. In time she grew to know the forest very well, as a young teen she discovered that if she got mad enough and concentrated real hard she could make the elements bend to her will. She once froze a local boys nose with a very cold stare. Most of her time is spent honing in her ranger skills but she dose experiment with her natural magical talents when time permits.
