Born to a small Elven City, Iaanda was treated almost as an outcast do to a strange condition from birth all of his hair is silver white. Even his name was a mockery of his difference "Iaanda" meaning "Void of Color". All his childhood was spent proving himself by excelling in every thing he did. He would try harder than any of the other elves his age and he would surpass them only to show that he could do every thing they could. Studying as a Taur'ohtar (Ranger) he loved nature. At the age of still young age of 60 Iaanda witnessed hi aunt ridiculed, condemned and then banished for being in love and marring a human named Drake Mahjiin. They were cast out of the city for there difference. Iaanda considered this very wrong every one should be allowed to love who ever they want and the humans were not that bad. Iaanda left the city a few weeks later he could not live in a town that had that much hatred. He wondered the wilderness for the next 35 years. From time to time he would top in on his Uncle and Aunt and the son with whom he became god friends over the years. During Iaandas years in the wilderness he developed a deep respect for the forest and started following Folian S'pae. He found a small cave in a grove of trees by a river there he made is home so he could watch over the land and the animals. Not far from his cave was a road traveled often by merchants on their way from one town or another. Iaanda over the years secretly protected many of those travelers from attack. He also spent quite a bit of the time at his uncles home. Many times Iaanda also visited his home town. Mostly to pick up any supplies that he could not get from the land. He spent time developing his home and learning the land around him.
