We know about these:
- Browser Specific:
- Safari:
- User Prefs work fine but every time you visit the page, Safari does not make the selections you made previously. The HTML for this is exactly how it's supposed to be but Safari just does not want to use it. So, you need to continually re-check and re-set all your prefs every time you go to change something.
The character pages (after putting in your Public CD Key) look just horrid! Virtually useless! This bug however, unlike the other Safari bug(s), can be repaired and will be at some point in the future, however the issue is to big to tackle at this time. My appologies.
- Internet Explorer:
Player Characters with non-ascii letters or accents in their name prevent Internet Explorer (any version) from following those links. Mozilla, Netscape, Firefox, etc all work fine (as they are standards compliant and work with these characters properly). The only way to "fix" this issue for Internet Explorer users is for all these non-ascii characters to have their name changed which I seriously doubt will happen. Eldárwen Hilliaraname is an example of a link that won't work right with IE yet will work fine for other browsers.
When viewing the server status pages (mini or full) the character portraits will sometimes show as "." instead of the image. Shift+refresh fixes this problem but it's virtually guaranteed to show up again as "."s on the next normal refresh. Still researching the issue.
- Character Sheet Specific:
- Permadead characters are not indexed at this time.
- If you see a character with lots of "n-a"'s and/or missing data it's because they haven't logged in a very very long time. This is not actually a bug. Nor is it a bug when the character is brand-new, their bic file get's backed up at the next interval. New characters can expect to see themselves within 24hrs of "clicking on the statue" and actually entering the world system.
- The portraits are not current. A system to handle portraits is in the works.
- LORE Site Engine Specific:
- Wiki Markup:
- Putting just a zero between any wiki markup tags will mess things up. You should not be using BLOCK type markup for just one character. In fact, you should always use the short-form markup unless you need more than one line with the same markup applied.
