Bio:
Born the child of a cleric and a rouge, Rav'Vair was raised in an untable enviroment at a young age. His mother always on the move and his father always at
prayer, Ra'Vair found himself alone. A small house on the beach, just east of
Hlint, is where Ra'Vair spent his adolescent childhood, playing in the ocean and building things out of drift wood that he could find.
At the age of seven, Ra'Vair's mother was killed scouting for a group of nobles from the capital city, Pranzis. Slain by a large group of
orcs, her body was never recovered. Stricken with anguish, Ra'Vair's father only fell deeper into his prayers of his god, Mist. After several months of seclusion, Ra'Vair began venturing out from his home into the wilds surrounding his dwelling. Two short weeks later, Ra'Vairs life was changed forever. Not a mile from the town of Salore, adventuring as was par for the course now, Ra'Vair was making a habit of not coming home for several days at a time. Walking through the plains, Ra'Vair stepped on a snake of large proportion. Being bitten firmly on the leg, Ra'Vair attempted to flee,
poison spreading through his body. After a short time, he fell to the ground, pain shooting through his body.
Two and a half days later....
Ra'Vair regained conciousness, sitting up in bed and looking around to see where he was. He was laying in his father's room, the window open to the ocean, a taste of salt in the air. Sitting to the side of the bed on the floor was his father, crouched against the wall, praying constantly. Ra'Vair reached out to his father. As his father's eyes opened, they filled with tears, his father jumping to his feet, wrapping his arms around Ra'Vair in a firm grasp. His father explained that he had found Ra'Vair in the front yard only a day earlier. Ra'Vair was shocked. He knew not how he had ended up in his yard, being so far from home. He explained all he remembered to his father, including the snake bite. Shocked at this proclamation, Ra'Vairs father said that he had only found him with a large gash in his leg and in great need of
blood. After talking about this for several weeks while Ra'Vair recovered, both the man and his son came to the conclusion that the Gods had spared Ra'Vair. From this moment on, Ra'Vair started to take a much greater interest in the world of the Gods.
By the age of eleven, Ra'Vair was firmly under his father's tuitalage into the Clerical world of Mist. Still, he made constant journies from his home, being much safer,Ra'Vair ventured further and further from home. As he explored, he found a great love in nature and its natural occurances. Out in the wilds, Ra'Vair became quite the hunter. Hunting small and medium game to feed himself, Ra'Vair learned about wildlife and nature. This went on until he reached the age of seventeen, his body now fully developed, he started planning forhis departure from his home.
Warning's given by his father, Ra'Vair started to realize that city life would be much different than that he had grown up in. His father warned him of the government and religious establishments that made up the politics of the world they lived in. He warned Ra'Vair not to step on others toes and to stay away from any trouble with anyone. At the age of eighteen, Ra'Vair left his home, wandering the lands, generally around his home, the towns and wilds. He came to the conclusion that he was not fond of the government all that much but it would do. He made up the decision that he would live for himself and that he would not let the government or any other establishment hold him back.
Still, he was a patron of Mist, so he made normal visits to the temple which seemed to suit him. After six years of meandering through the surrounding lands, Ra'Vair landed in Hlint, a fighter and follower of Mist, he wanted to make a change in the world. Not nescesarily through the government but through himself.
Cleric Bio Add-On:
(To start off, the player, being me, has fully read and understands the Dogma, Beliefs,
Alignments, and Allie/Enemy System of the Goddess Mist.)
Ra'Vair, having grown up on the coast was brought up veiwing the raw power of nature. As he sat on the bluffs above his home on the beach, he watched as the waves crashed against the
stone, taking bit by bit with it as it receeded. Amazed by the power envoked by nature, he developed a vast respect for it, the people that worked with it, and even those who were daring enough to work against it. Ships lost at sea, taken by the Typhoons brought by Mist, brought him satifactions of a small sort. He thought that the power was great and the sea a wonderous thing, but also held the utmost respect for the sailor whom thought himself enough to handle the storm. Mist is a wonderous Goddess with unrivaled powers and the goddess of choice for Ra'Vair Nathaniel Lovart.
